Restoration, Volunteering, War Birds

The Grissom Air Museum is restoring their B-17G Flying Fortress. It is being restored to honor “Miss Liberty Belle” of the 305th Bomb Group. This B-17 returned to base damaged, and after seeing another B-17 fire flares signaling wounder were onboard, allowed the other B-17 land first. While waiting to land, Miss Liberty Belle crashed killing 8 of the 10 crew. This restoration will honor those men. Please help by purchasing a shirt. Check out our facebook page for the Grissom Air Museum, or message me for a shirt order. Shirts are $25.
